I have brought my dog in a couple of times because he has a history of eating rocks. The first time Dr. Sran surgically removed 3 pounds of rocks out of my dog and a few months later again removed a rock out of him. The Dr. and the staff are so helpful and made sure I was comfortable with everything that was going to happen and explained the entire procedure to me including aftercare for when I brought him home. They were all confident and efficient and their main concern is always the animal. Would recommend this hospital to anyone. My favourite vet by far.

When I found out my dog needed TPLO surgery I did some research & decided to go with Dr. Sran. When I inquired by email I received a phone call within hours. Staff were very sympathetic to my concerns & Dr. Sran called me personally. He gave me a very good price for the surgery & he got my dog in within a week! The surgery went very smoothly, and I took “Star” home 2 days later. I followed all the instructions given & Dr. Sran called me personally a few times during the first few days. After a week the bandages came off & I was so amazed at how clean the incision was with no bruising or swelling, from my research I saw horrific pictures of dogs after TPLO surgeries from other vets. I wished I could post a picture here of Star’s leg!! After a few months her X-rays came back as “completely healed” & back to normal activity. We have our dog back! Don’t see Dr. Sran just because his price is better but because he’s the BEST!! I highly recommend Dr. Sran!!

Such an amazing vet! I had taken my beautiful dog from Kamloops too Abbotsford for the doctor there to give my dog the TPLO surgery. Not only did they take such amazing care of Lexus, they found out why she needed this surgery as well as found out everything and anything else wrong. They didn’t expect me to pay them more money and get these other problems fixed, but rather just informed me of them and told me too keep an eye out to see if these problems become severe. I’ve had to keep in touch with the vet for more pain meds and each of the staff knew exactly who i was and sent her prescription to my vet of choice in Kamloops. They even went as far as cutting out two heart shapes and stuck them onto Lexus’ cast. I can’t explain how incredibly happy I am with this place! Very amazing doctors and staff! I can’t ever thank you guys enough! If I lived in the lower mainland, Lexus and myself would be going for vet visits to them!

Dr Sran and the staff at Allwest Animal Hospital are the best!! I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. We had our furbaby, Odin in for TPLO surgery in February. Dr Sran was got us in within a week for surgery as we were put on a 3 month waitlist with our local vet. Im eternally grateful for his immediate attention. The care and love our dog was shown has made the healing process so much better. The staff calls often to check in for follow up and they are always ready to answer any questions that arise. So glad we found Allwest Vets! Dr Sran did an amazing job with our Staff, Oakley. She had a TPLO surgery and is now fully back to doing what she loves most! I would definitely recommend Dr Sran, should your dog need surgery. Initially we were booked in to another vets to have our dogs surgery, but after searching for the best TPLO surgeons, Dr Sran’s name came up! Took us 45 minutes to get to Allwest but so worth it. Allwest Animal Hospital is one of a kind. Hummer, our large two year old Bernese Mountain Dog Cross, had a horrible accident when he ran out in front of an armored personnel carrier during army exercises in out vicinity. His right back leg was severely damaged. The femur was broken into two parts, and the tibia was split lengthwise, with one whole side of the bone (lengthwise) missing as well as the skin and flesh. The paw was dangling. His head and hip were injured, but less severe. The prognosis was not good. We were advised to have the whole leg amputated, or have him put down. We were determined to do neither. We were hoping for something else. When told of Dr. Sran’s work at Allwest Animal Hospital in Abbotsford we were so thankful. Dr. Sran assessed the damage and said he would do his best, and explained to us what he would have to do. We gave Hummer into his care. After the amazing initial operations, Dr. Sran took care of Hummer at the hospital for 5 months doing what it took to get the skin to stretch and grow and eventually cover the metal strip that he had put in to replace the missing side of the bone. This was completely successful. 5 months later, our dog came home happy and healthy and with all four legs! A testimony to the amazing patience and care given by Dr. Sran, and his staff at Allwest Animal Hospital. We are forever grateful to Dr. Sran for his amazing work, and his care and kindness to our pet, and to us. And also we thank his excellent staff.
The rebuilding of Hummer’s leg would have cost a fortune anywhere else, but Dr. Sran did all this for a fraction of what it would have costed us elsewhere. I can’t say enough about this amazingly skilled and compassionate and dedicated man. I highly recommend his services.
